Favorite Place to wakesurf: Lake Austin on a Tuesday

Favorite Place to ocean surf: Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica

Other Sports/Interests: Fishing, Sporting Clays, Mountain Bike, Wakeskate, mostly Surf and Fish

Surf Style vs Skim Style and Why: The sport is called wakesurfing, that means you want to simulate surfing on your wake. A surf style board, for the most part, has a ocean surfing feel. The skims all move like, well, a skimboard, and skimboarding and surfing in the ocean are a totally different thing, just like on the lake.

Inspirations in the Sport: Jerry Price, Ossie Wright, Blazin’ Hazen, Dave Rastovich, My Gramps.
