West Texas native Chris Kinsey joined the Shred Stixx team late during the 2008 seasn and had an incredible summer competing at the pro am level. Chris is a pure wakesurfer and has developed a unique style that allows him to boost huge airs. Here is the rider profile for Chris:

Favorite place to surf: Lake Nasworthy and Lake Brownwood
Surf versus Skim and why?: Definately surf because of the style of riding. And because you can catch sick airs
Biggest inspiration: my dad
Favorite person to surf with: I enjoy going out with my friends
Trick you are working on now: Going big on my airs, spins, and different grabs
What do you think about the future of wakesurfing: I think wakesurfing is going to continue to grow and become more popular. Wakesurfing is a great way of bringing the sport of surfing to people who don’t live near an ocean.
Goals: Continue to help advance the sport of wakesurfing, and to go to Worlds to compete.
