Shred Stixx Announces European Wakesurf Team
Shred Stixx Wakesurf Company has paddled across the pond and established operations in Europe based in Ruggell, Liechtenstein. Wakesurfing is blowing up here and on nearby Lake Zurich, Switzerland. The Original Wakesurf Company, has assembled an up and coming wakesurf team of riders from Europe is managed by Shred Stixx distributor Clemenz Buechel and lists top female riders Korina Smyrek and Rebecca Ort.

Surf or Skim Style: I like both styles because you can do different tricks with each of
these boards. This gives me a lot of creativity in this sport.
When did you start wakesurfing?I have started with wakesurfing 3 summer seasons
(May to mid of October) ago and also with competitions.
Have you ever surfed in the ocean?Oh yes, I have been surfing in the ocean in Biarritz
(France), San Diego (USA), Fuerteventura (Spain), Taghazout (Morocco) and Barbados
(Barbados). It is always tough in the ocean, but when you catch the wave then it is pure
pleasure.
Favorite Place to wakesurf? This is definitely the lake Walensee in Switzerland. The
lake is surrounded by mountains and the colour is amazing (see pictures).

Trick you are working on now? At the moment I working on my style and of course on
some new tricks like shuv-it, 720° spin…
Favorite Music?At the moment I am listen to the soundtrack of the snowboard movie
