Shred Stixx Announces First River Surfer Sponsorship for 2010: Alex Mau

As a follow up to the recently released 2010 River Stixx, Shred Stixx and slayshTank have announced their first river surfer sponsorship for 2010. Alex Mau will be joining the team from Littleton, Colorado and has been river surfing competively for a couple seasons.  At the end of the 2009 season Alex won a river surfing event hosted in Colorado and looks to compete more in 2010.  Here is a little closer look at Alex on his first Stixx.  Check back for a rider profile, pictures and video of the newset kind of river slaysh.

    I really feel that Alex Mauer will be the one to bring River Surfing to the forefront of the everyone. River Surfing is what he has been about for his whole life and really good. He is an awsome surfer, and can surf almost any wave. When he surfs, people watch him in awe.

    Not many people have his passion and drive. He is the future of river surfing!!!!!!
    Right on to SS for having the vision to not only build a river specific board but to follow though with a sponsorship of a true hardcore river surfer.
