Founded in 1999, Shred Stixx Wakesurf Co has been setting the standard in premium surf style epoxy wakesurf boards for 10 years.  With the 2010 season closer than you may think, the Stixx crew has been busy with a number of updates including the addition of 2 new boards, all new graphics, all new construction, new traction, new corporate logo, and the addition of Rebecca Ort to the only Pro Wakesurf Team in the industry. Rebecca joins Chase Hazen and Stixx will head into the 2010 season with the top male and female riders in the world.  We look forward to another exciting year for wakesurfing and following the Shred Stixx pro team.

The 2009 Hazen Pro Model Moves to Production for 2010

The comp I is the first quad fin design in the Shred Stixx quiver and offers a level of control and drive never before seen behind the boat.  This board features a diamond nose to allow riders to stay in the wave, grab rails for controlling the board while launching huge airs, and a dove swallow tail for optimal release on snap turns.  This combination is ideal for advanced riders with competition in mind and is suitable for riders up to 200 lbs.

Series II for the Limited Edition Run: Rebecca Ort Signature

The Rebecca Ort signature board is our second series Limited Edition for 2010.  The LE II is the first surf style wakesurf board designed for female riders.  The LE II is three inches shorter than the comp I and features a quad fin set up which offers the same level of control and drive.  This board also features the diamond nose shape which allows riders to stay in the wave.  The LE II also has grab rails and dove swallow tail for big airs and snappy release. This board design is perfect for female riders looking for the best surf style performance on the water.

River Surfing is Coming of Age and Stixx Launched the River Stixx

The River Stixx is the latest edition to the Shred Stixx quiver.  Over the last two seasons, we have seen the rise in river surfing as another alternative to ocean surfing and this board offers the ultimate ride on the river. This board is shaped much like the Thresher but features an extra thickness that makes it ideal for staying in the standing wave.  With the tri fin set up, the River Stixx has the signature Shred Stixx drive that allows for big airs and snappy turns.  With this width and thickness the River Stixx is great for beginners to advanced riders of all weight classes.

The Thresher is Back in Black and White

Next to the comp I the Thresher is the most advanced board in the 2010 Shred Stixx quiver. This board has been developed with the aggressive, out of the box rider in mind and features a tri fin set up. Big air has become the next frontier for wakesurfing and the Thresher caters to riders looking for maximum drive,  big air potential, and radical slaysh. This board is ideal for experienced riders but also offers beginners a challenging board with room for advancement. The Thresher is ideal for riders up to 190 lbs.

The Ja Mako is for the larger slayshers

The Ja Mako was designed to bring a new dimension to the Shred Stixx quiver in the ability to offer the same aggressive ride as the Thresher to our larger riders. With a slightly wider tail, the Ja Mako offers effortless speed and the drive that allows for a true surf style ride and big air tricks.  This board features a tri fin set up and is ideal for beginning riders in the 190 – 220 lbs range.

A Shred Stixx Classic The Piranha

The Piranha offers an evolutionary fish shape which has been developed for the entire family to enjoy behind the boat. This board offers a true surf style ride to the widest range of skill levels and weight classes. With the tri fin set up, the Piranha offers the signature Shred Stixx drive and allows all riders to stay in the wave and sharpen their wakesurf skills. The Piranha is ideal all riders up to 240 lbs.

For All the Skimmers

The 2010 Skim Stixx is three inches shorter than last years model and remains our only board in the quiver for those riders who prefer the skim style over the more traditional surf style ride.  This board is designed for surface tricks, 360’s, and snappy turns. The Skim Stixx can easily be kicked into ollies and shuv its and this board is a good choice for a beginners. This board is ideal for riders up to 200 lbs.

All boards from the Shred Stixx quiver are hand made and glassed with ePtech Board Technology.  With over 30 years of board development experience, Shred Stixx has refined our construction technique to include the highest level of quality and environmental awareness.  ePtech Board Technology consists of two pound EPS blanks which are precision fused for optimum strength and controlled density.  Our EPS blanks offer better bonding and flex than polyurethane and prove to be safe for builders and the environment. Shred Stixx uses Resin Research Epoxy in each board which provides optimal strength, elongation, bonding, and clarity. Our boards are coated with two layers of six ounce of Hexel Fiberglass for the most durable finish in the industry.
