2010 Shred Stixx Wakesurf Co: the original wakesurf company

Last year was a defining season for the young sport of wakesurfing and Shred Stixx Team Rider Chase Hazen set a standard of unprecedented progression for 2010. Hazen swept the ’09 season collecting the US National Wakesurf title, the European King of the Lake Wakesurf title, the Texas Wakesurf Championship, the Florida State Championship, Surf Sesh ’09 title, and the Barrel Boss title.

The 2010 season brings a new element of anticipation with a number of announcements from the original wakesurf company. Shred Stixx Founder and sport pioneer Jerry Price continues his cutting edge board development with the 2010 Hazen Elevation. This board is hand made in the USA and combines the features of last years comp I with a step deck, bottom channels, and slightly modified nose.

Each board from the Shred Stixx quiver is made from ePtech board technology and has been tweaked to perfection between Jerry Price and wakesurf phenom Chase Hazen. With over 30 years of board development experience, Shred Stixx has refined our construction technique to include the highest level of quality and environmental awareness. ePtech Board Technology consists of two pound EPS blanks which are precision fused for optimum strength and controlled density. Our EPS blanks offer better bonding and flex than polyurethane and prove to be safe for builders and the environment. Shred Stixx uses Resin Research Epoxy in each board which provides optimal strength, elongation, bonding, and clarity. Our boards are coated with two layers of six ounce of Hexel Fiberglass for the most durable finish in the industry.
