slayshTank: The Wakesurf, Wakeskate, Skateboard, Music and Video Coalition

slayshTank is stoked to announce the addition of Alex Mauer to the Riders Coalition.  Alex also rides for Shred Stixx Wakesurf Co and is a pioneer in the emerging sport of river surfing.  Check out the video below taken just a few days ago in Pueblo, CO and click HERE to view Alex’s profile page.

This video was taken on April 24, 2010. The conditions were less than ideal, with the air temperature in Pueblo in the low 50s and the water temperature sitting pretty in the mid 40s.  The wind was howling and the skies were cloudy but we were still able to get in a pretty epic session.  Even with the flow so low, the River Stixx by Shred Stixx allowed Alex Mauer to get up and shred some small waves. Everyone that we have shared the river with have expressed great enthusiasm about the River Stixx and have all said that it is far and away the best board that they have ever ridden. Even with the flow so low, the ride on the River Stixx is smooth and easy. I can’t explain to you how excited myself and your surfer Alex Mauer are to take the board out when the flow is higher and see how it handles on the big waves!
