Two Videos from Two Very Summery Bands
Today, I’m playing Slayshtank VJ.
If there was contention for who could make the most sun-soaked, nostalgic, and summery music, the likes of Washed Out and Wavves would certainly be mentioned names. One does so with dense layers while the other strums and cowls his way into our remembered summer of 2010. Both have recently posted videos and since I haven’t written in a while and you’ve all be such good readers, here’s both of them (thanks to P4K—not my only source, but might as well be…):
Green Label Sound and San Diegans, Wavves, team up to provide visual accompaniment to their post-punk gem, “Post Acid”.
Footage of Washed Out’s’ Summer goings-on work nicely under the waivering and classically cool “Hold Out”.
