Centurion Boats Signs Jimmi Sparling to Pro Wakesurf Team

The Newest Team Rider for Centurion Boats

Centurion Boats is proud to announce that professional wakesurfer Jimmi Sparling has joined the Centurion Pro Wakesurf Team. Sparling, who resides in Boise, Idaho and who is an accomplished snowboarder, started wake surfing as a summertime substitute for snowboarding and in 2009 he entered a professional contest as an amateur and took first place. At that point, Jimmi’s passion for wake surfing was ignited.

Jimmi said, “I grew up snowboarding in the Idaho Mountains and always planned to go pro. I got sponsored by local companies and did some competitions but as soon as I started wakesurfing, I found my new passion. Whether you’re behind a boat or in the ocean, there is something about surfing that just gets me stoked. As soon as I started riding behind a Centurion, my progression took off. The wave is by far the best advantage and no other boat company does it better.”

When asked who he would like to thank for helping his accomplishments, Jimmi said, “I have the best wife in the world. She kills it at wakesurfing and is my best friend. I also want to thank Centurion for standing behind wakesurfing and sponsoring the World Wake Surfing Championship and I also need to give big props to Jeff Wahlers at SoulCraft boards.

Centurion’s team consists of the most decorated wake surfers in the World with a combined 11 World Wake Surfing Championship titles. The team includes Bri Chmel, Keenan Flegel, Noah Flegel, Caroline Villeneuve, Sean Cummings, Jimmi Sparling and Drew Danielo just to name a few.
